What the Fantasy Premier League podcasts said this week, before the deadline.

Andy outlines a wildcard squad built on goalkeeper rotation, budget defenders, and value midfielders. He recommends rotating Verbruggen and Kinskey to save a million versus Raya and preserve bench flexibility. Defensively, he selects Calafiori, Konsa, Mihajlovic, Van Hecke, and Silver for value, consistency, and favorable home fixtures. In midfield, he omits Cole Palmer and Morgan Rogers in favor of Gross, Saka, Chader, and Tavernier, citing better value and captaincy options. He retains Haaland for home fixtures and captaincy potential, adds Gonzalo Garcia for penalty potential, and excludes João Pedro due to a yellow flag and uncertain fitness. He emphasizes using saved transfers for long-term flexibility.
