GW4: FPL Expert Team Selection | Wildcard Active!

I need to hold transfers to facilitate a bench boost and restructure the squad without a wildcard. I got lucky because several players dropped in price after I decided not to transfer them out.

Going without Haaland helps spread funds and allows for a stronger overall squad structure.

Omitting Haaland is a risk, particularly for the Sunderland home fixture, but the plan covers the period until Gameweek 7.

João Pedro will be massively captained by the majority of managers, making him a player against you if you don't own him.

Palmer offers routes to points via penalties and set pieces, but Pedro's goal threat is higher this week.

Beto is a strong option at 5.6m due to penalty potential and lack of competition at Everton.

Isak is a good option but carries rotation risk due to European fixtures.

Calvert-Lewin has favorable fixtures and is being sold by many, making him a potential differential.

The Rate My Team tool projects 60 points for GW4 and 70-71 points for a bench-boosted GW5.

The squad is strong enough to last until GW7, after which Haaland and a City defender may need to be added.
