What's Wright - Seahawks-Patriots Super Bowl REMATCH, Chiefs catching strays, BIGGEST storylines of the NFL season

I apologize for possibly overlooking the Patriots game, but I'm conflicted about calling a wild-card win five years ago his signature moment.

Replay in sports does not make games better, more watchable, or more fair, and the only path to remove egregious errors is to remove replay entirely.

Seattle will win comfortably 27-17; the Seahawks have minor concerns but the Patriots face major defensive and offensive line questions, making them closer to the 10th or 11th best team.

If the Patriots get beat soundly like in the Super Bowl, it will be tough to consider them a front-line contender, and they could start 1-3.

With the pressure removed after back-to-back strong seasons and a Super Bowl win, Darnold could play his best football and has a viable path to MVP contention at 24-to-1 odds.

I anticipate Darnold will play free and easy, giving us the best version of him yet.

The Rams' late departure sacrifices Week 1 advantage to minimize long-term season disruption; I lean Rams win but Niners cover, with Donald likely used situationally.

Simmons' status is up in the air; if he misses, protecting Mahomes' blindside against Denver's pass rush must be the primary goal, even if it means running the ball 45 times.

McDuffie's frustration is justified, but playing him on the outside instead of in the slot misutilizes his skills, and the "Spags bump" for Chiefs DBs has historically produced mixed results.
